Bachelor of Science in Journalism
The program emphasizes excellence in journalism, multimedia storytelling, ethics and professional behavior, audience understanding, research, quantitative literacy, visual literacy, and creativity.
Bachelor of Science in Communication
The program offers hands-on learning experiences in creative media arts such as script writing, cinematography, film production and animation.
Master of Arts in Sports Administration
The program builds strategic communication, media marketing, and leadership skills specific to the sports industry and prepares students for communication, marketing, and promotional roles in the Middle East sports industry.
Certificates and Minors

Certificate in Strategic Communication
With this four-unit certificate, students learn applied communication with marketing communications, public relations, advertising, corporate communication, and digital communication coursework.
Minor in Media and Politics
Offered in collaboration with Georgetown University in Qatar, this minor helps students better understand how politicians, diplomats, and policy-makers influence, and are themselves influenced by, the media in its myriad forms and formats.
Minor in Middle East Studies
This minor provides students with a critical understanding of this crucial region’s cultures, histories, societies, politics, intellectual contributions, and mediated representations.
