Weekly Episodes at the Green Bank of the Qur'anic Botanic Garden

Welcome to our weekly episodes at the Green Bank to learn about the restoration and preservation of seeds at the Qur'anic Botanic Garden, presented by the Assistant Researcher Ahmed El-Gharib, every Thursday at 1pm on Instagram Live.

We will discuss the concept of conservation at the Qur'anic Botanic Garden, and the episodes will broadcast from the QBG Conservation Center of Plant Resources, which includes the herbarium, seed bank, germination rooms, and greenhouses. We will introduce the audience to the concepts of long and short-term conservation of seeds, as well as various methods of seed collection and collection tools, biological processes, in-bank measurements, and tests of viability and germination. During the episodes, we will show the seeds of plant species and their different forms.
